FAQs

General Questions

How long are the walks?

We offer 30, 45, or 60 minute walks, but we can discuss longer options if needed.

Where do you walk?

We’ll walk in your dog’s familiar neighborhood to keep them comfortable and safe. If your pup enjoys parks or trails, we’re happy to incorporate those into our walks with your permission. All walks are tracked- we will send a link at the end so you can see where we’ve been!

Do you walk dogs in all weather?

Yes, we walk rain or shine! If the weather is extreme (heavy storms, extreme heat, icy conditions), we’ll adjust as needed for safety.

Do you offer off-leash walks?

For safety reasons, all walks are on-leash unless we are in a secure, fenced-in area with your permission.

Boarding

Where will my dog stay?

Your pup will stay in a comfortable home environment- not a kennel! They’ll have space to relax, play, and be part of the family during their stay.

What do I need to bring for boarding?

Please bring your dog’s food, leash, and any medications they need. You’re welcome to bring their bed, favorite toy, or anything else that will help them feel at home!

Do you board multiple dogs at once?

We board one family at a time to ensure a safe and stress-free environment.

Policies & Requirements

What vaccines are required?

All dogs must be up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. Proof of vaccination is required before services.

Do you take puppies?

Yes! Puppies must be at least 8 months and have their vaccinations appropriate for their age.

Do you accept all breeds?

Yes! We do not discriminate based on breed. However, all dogs must be well-mannered and non-aggressive toward people and other dogs.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policy for dog walks: clients may cancel a scheduled dog walk up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled start time will not be eligible for a refund.

Cancellation policy for boarding:

  • Full Refund: If you cancel your boarding reservations by noon, 3 days before the start of the booking, you will receive a full refund.

  • Partial Refund: Cancellations made after noon, 3 days before the start of the booking are eligible for:

    • 50% refund on the first 7 canceled days of the stay.

    • 100% refund for any days canceled after the first 7 days.

  • No Refund: Cancellations made on or after the day of the scheduled boarding start will not be eligible for a refund.

What happens if my dog gets sick or injured?

Your dog’s health and safety is my top priority. In case of illness or injury, we will contact you immediately and, if necessary, take your dog to your preferred vet or the nearest emergency clinic.

Other Questions

Can I check in on my dog while they’re boarding?

Absolutely! I’ll send you a link where I will post updates, photos, and videos so you can see how your pup is doing.

Do you offer any other pet services?

Right now, we focus on dog walking and boarding, but plan to expand in the future! One-on-one and training classes will eventually be available, so stay tuned!
